You can drop the a pickup truck camper and drive the truck wherever you want to go. In addition, you can park just about anywhere you can park a car, and the truck andcamper is well within most length restricted requirements.
Lance slideout campers are one of only a few slideout campers without a raised floor. They're designed with lower overall height and weight for less wind resistance and better performance and handling. There are three slideout models in the Lance lineup.
Foot for foot, pickup truck campers cost more than travel trailers, a fact not unnoticed by many would-be buyers. The reason is that the truck camper must be built stronger because they do not have a steel frame for support and are built to withstand off-road travel. Feature for feature, truck campers typically have more and usually better features than a trailer and a roof strong enough to walk on. Truck campers are equipped with four corner jacks that add cost. The life span and resale value of a truck camper is much better than a travel trailer because of better construction.
