Fleetwood's 2001 Class A's feature a more "residential feeling"

Bounder honored by consumer magazine

RIVERSIDE, Calif. - The world's' leading recreational vehicle manufacturer, Fleetwood Enterprises, Inc., recently announced the prestigious Consumers Digest "Best Buy" award for its Class A Bounder motorhome.
The Bounder Diesel for 2001.

Consumers Digest defines its "Best Buy" as a product offering outstanding value for its price in the marketplace. "With the growing popularity of RVs, we are finding our customers demands are changing," said Dave Brown, Product Planning Manager, Motor Homes Division, Fleetwood RV. "RVers today want a residential feeling and a sense of luxury that is in line with the price of the product, they want their motor home to be an extension of their lifestyle. In response to this, the 2001 product line is marked by new, fresh exteriors and a number of new features and options that make RVing convenient, stylish and still an outstanding value."

All new features for 2001 Fleetwood RV Class A motor homes include an extra-thick, high-gloss Vetrolite fiberglass exterior; dependable Tuff Pex plumbing; a new Tuffply roof made from thermo-polyolefin (TPO) a seamless, one-piece roof that is easy to clean and eliminates chalking; and a DSI 6-gallon gas/electric water heater which reduces LPG consumption and eliminates the need for a pilot light. Popular models such as Discovery, Expedition and Southwind offer optional GPS navigation systems.

Many floor plans feature double slide-outs for more space, function and livability. More than 15 new floor plans have been added to the Fleetwood RV 2001 motor home line-up, giving the customer more flexibility in choosing a vehicle that will best suit their needs. For example the exciting new 2001Bounder Diesel 37K floor plan offers an optional 14 cu. ft. side-by-side refrigerator with icemaker and an optional computer workstation that has plenty of storage for personal computer equipment.

The all new 2001 Pace Arrow 34R floor plan is a unique bedroom/wardrobe slide-out that features a triple-wide wardrobe for storage and also creates additional living space in the bedroom and bathroom area.
